About the Job:
As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in our daily accounting operations and support the team during the month-end close process. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing accounting tasks across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our global business initiatives.
In this Role, You will have the chance to:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries for prepaid and accruals.
- Take ownership of daily accounting operations in the system to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in all regulatory filings such as 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and registration statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with US GAAP standards and SEC regulations.
- Prepare/support in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP accounting standards, internal controls and assist with audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Conduct research on financial data, compile internal reports, and analyze findings to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications, Skills & Personality:
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Be a qualified CPA (mandatory).
- 0-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably with US GAAP exposure.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP standards, financial planning, and analysis.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems (specifically SAP) is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership.
- A sense of urgency, a hands-on approach, and a go-getter attitude.
- Eagerness to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.
- The ability to accelerate their learning curve through proactive engagement.
- A positive, energetic attitude that fosters team spirit.
NOTE: The candidate should be based in Bangalore and comfortable with working in the office five days a week.
