Tasks
Your main tasks include:
- Timely filing of tax declarations and tax payments
- Responsible for all Tax Compliances for India
- Independent handling of all tax notices, enquiries and audits
- Support with preparation, audit, submission of financial statements in accordance with local legal regulations and coordinate with accountants, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Follow up of changes in local regulations and coordinate with the responsible finance colleagues in order to keep country specification up to date
- Proactively work on & implement any changes in local tax laws & regulations
- Coordinate with tax consultants & advise responsible finance colleagues regarding the changes in taxation laws & compliances, etc. and follow up on tax refunds & legal cases concerning taxation
- All other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
If you want to be the next
Finance and Tax Expert you must fulfill the following requirements:
- CA/ CPA or equivalent desirable
- Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting or Taxation degree required
- Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation and at least 5 years of work experienced dealing with Tax compliances, audits, notices, court cases etc.
- At least 9 years of work experience required
- Fluent knowledge of English language both written and spoken
- Solid knowledge on fiscal law
- Knowledge of local Tax compliance and regulatory regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office products
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Excellent business sense
- Excellent cost consciousness
- Excellent detail oriented
- Willingness to travel
- Constant time pressure
- Must possess legal work permit in India
