We undisrupt vehicle payments. To impact a highly fragmented v-commerce space, we aim to bring order to simplify & aggregate.
We are a full stack v-commerce platform. We build the Network side of the products to achieve dense on-ground digital coverage by working with & aggregating different types of partners. Further help set the standards for scaling sustainably for the future. We also build the User side of the products to make road travel experience for our vehicle owners and drivers contactless and fully autonomous
About the role:. Payroll Administration & Employee Benefits (60%). Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for both Indian and UK employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations
Manage complex compensation components, including: India: EPF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, TDS and UK: ESOPs, other employee benefits, PAYE deductions. Generate and distribute tax forms to employees: India: Form 16 and UK: P45, P60, P11d. Address employee inquiries regarding wages, deductions, attendance, and time records for both Indian and UK staff
Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences for all employees, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Handle changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles for all employees, updating payroll records accordingly
Liaise with relevant authorities for payroll tax compliance and reporting: India: Relevant Indian authorities and UK: HMRC. Accounting Support (30%). Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with: Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) for Indian entities and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for UK entities. Properly allocate payroll-related expenses in respective accounting systems: Indian expenses (EPF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, TDS) in Tally and UK expenses (PAYE, NIC) and other UK-specific expenses. Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a weekly basis for both Indian and UK entities, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. Review and approve journal entries and adjustments related to payroll and compensation for both regions. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review, ensuring compliance with local regulations and reporting standards for both India and the UK. Administrative Support (10%). Support finance team with documentation, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
Role requirements:. Experience: 1-2 years in payroll administration and accounting
Education: Master's degree in accounting/finance. Preferably CA or ACCA
Expertise in Indian (EPF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, TDS) and UK (PAYE, NIC) payroll regulations and accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software relevant to both India (e.g., Tally) and the UK (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks), as well as experience with international payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Oracle)
Demonstrated experience with cross-border employee benefits and navigating diverse regulatory environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Valid two-wheeler license and own vehicle
