Position Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Duties will include managing accounting staff overseeing internal controls.
- Financial planning and monitoring expenditures.
- Assist organization in implementing effective financial strategies.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Overseeing audit and tax functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting manager, or senior accountant
- Thorough knowledge of core accounting procedures
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Complete knowledge of Taxation Filing (TDS, GST, PT)
- Knowledge of Statutory payments
- Coordinating with Auditors for internal external audit
- Financial year end preparing filing of PL
Preferred Skills -
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
- Analytical thinker and problem solver.
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- High level of accuracy.
- Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
- Administrative skills
Educational Background & Experience -
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com is preferred with 2 to 4 years of experience.
