We are seeking a motivated and talented Figma Designer with 0-1 year of experience to join our design team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior designers and other stakeholders to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding designer to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining design systems, including components, styles, and interactions using Figma.
- Support senior designers in the development of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to design discussions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure design consistency and alignment with project goals.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
- Help prepare design assets and specifications for development handoff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0-1 year of experience in a design role, preferably with a focus on digital products.
- Proficiency in Figma, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Portfolio showcasing design work and demonstrating proficiency in Figma (academic projects, internships, or personal projects are acceptable).
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles.
- Experience with other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
