Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Verification:

  • Conduct on-site visits to the addresses provided by individuals or entities to verify their identity and residency.
  • Interview the subject of the verification or relevant individuals to collect essential information and cross-verify details.

Reference Checks:

  • Contact provided references, such as previous employers, educational institutions, and personal references.
  • Verify employment history, educational qualifications, character references, and any other relevant information.

Document Verification:

  • Examine and validate documents, such as identity proofs, academic certificates, employment records, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure that the submitted documents are genuine and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Database Research:

  • Utilize various databases and public records to gather additional information relevant to the verification process.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data obtained.

Timely Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports based on the findings of each verification.
  • Submit the reports within the specified timelines and adhere to quality standards.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements during the verification process.
  • Maintain proper documentation of each verification conducted.

Communication:

  • Interact professionally with individuals, references, and relevant stakeholders during the verification process.
  • Provide clear explanations about the purpose of the verification and address any concerns raised.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with the internal operations team to ensure the smooth execution of verification assignments.
  • Seek assistance and guidance when faced with challenging verification scenarios.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in field verification, data collection, or investigative work is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of accurately recording information gathered during the verification process.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of verification visits effectively.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications for report preparation and data entry.
  • Ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality during the verification process.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to travel to various locations for on-site verifications.
