WORK SUMMARY:
Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with Servicing, Repairing & Installation and Commissioning of Precise CNC Machine Tools. Use precision test equipment to analyse, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems. Successfully coordinate and complete the installation of various machine tools. Work closely with customers, vendors, and Team. Independently organize and complete a successful Installation & Service call. Assist other service engineers, and preventive maintenance technicians.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ready to travel Pan India level - Dismantle and prepare machines for Installation. Carry out machine geometry and alignment. (mechanical) of the Machines. Troubleshoot and repair of major machine tool problems. Prepare technical reports including machine assessments. Disassemble, and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables. Maintain parts inventory, personal library of machine manuals, company-assigned tools. Service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines according to customer requirements. Perform routine preventive maintenance and Health Check-ups on CNC machines. Diagnose and resolve machine performance issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support. Document all service activities and provide detailed reports to management. Coordinate with the sales team to identify potential service opportunities. Identify, repair, or replace damaged Parts of the Machine with Precision Report activities and expenses timely and accurately. Communicate with Service Team & Take Guidance and Instructions Work with very limited supervision and complete any other duties as assigned. Focus on continuous improvements with respect to service, installation, assembly, problem resolving, and phone support to customers. JOB
- REQUIREMENTS : Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology. Diploma in Mech Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience in machine tool field service.
- Full understanding of multiple machine tool specifications and have an advanced knowledge of test equipment.
Ability to do final scrape and or fitting of most machine tool components. Nice to have but not an compulsion.
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities. & Clear understanding of various CNC controls like Siemens & Fanuc with various functions. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Job requires extensive Travels and at Short Notices
- Fluent in English with Good Speaking and Writing ability. Skills to Train Operators Excellent Communication Skills with Customers at all level
