Job Overview
NOV India Private Limited is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the NOV M/D Totco product line, working on a variety of offshore and onshore projects across India, as well as handling workshop-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service Operations: Provide expert field service support for M/D Totco products at various customer locations, including onshore and offshore rigs.
Workshop Maintenance: Oversee and execute maintenance activities and equipment preparation within the workshop, ensuring optimal functionality and readiness.
Equipment Repair and Calibration: Perform detailed repair, maintenance, and calibration of equipment. Prepare comprehensive service and calibration reports during assignments both on rigs and in the workshop.
Hardware and Software Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance of hardware and software systems. Conduct rigorous testing and functional assessments to guarantee equipment performance.
Project Planning: Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently, ensuring all objectives are met within specified timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background: A degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar sectors.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of industry-standard practices and job safety procedures.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command over IT and network-related equipment. Familiarity with maintenance procedures for hydraulic instruments is highly desirable.
Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
