We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer specializing High end analytical and research Instruments to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and support of our contamination monitoring instruments across various customer sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
Install new contamination monitoring instruments at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and configuration according to technical specifications.
Calibration and Maintenance:
Perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on contamination monitoring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly, utilizing diagnostic tools and methodologies to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Customer Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding instrument operation, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance best practices.
Training and Documentation:
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on instrument operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports related to service visits, repairs, and installations.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with R&D and product teams to provide feedback on instrument performance, reliability, and usability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Field Service Management:
Manage service schedules, prioritize service calls, and coordinate logistics to ensure efficient deployment and utilization of resources.
Requirements:
B. Tech EEE/ ECE/ EIE, or a related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience in below equipment will be preferred.
Liquid Scintillation Counters
Gamma Counters
Alpha/Beta/Gamma Spectroscopy
Contamination monitoring Instruments
Automated Labelling Synthesizers
TLC, HPLC Systems
Survey, Dose rate Meters
Microplate Readers
Proven experience (3-5 years) in servicing High end analytical and research Instruments or related analytical instrumentation in a field service capacity.
Strong knowledge of electronic systems, with proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Willingness to travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as needed.
