The Field service engineer is responsible for providing services across the region. He is also responsible for
quality Commissioning & Handing over of all the Battery product & Client Products like, UPS, PVPCS,
Drive products of as per standard. Attending the breakdown support for all the Battery & Client products
and ensure the system operation within committed TAT. Generating Service inquiries and pass on to
Service Sales team. Accountable for planning and timely execution of contractual preventive maintenance.
Responsible uptime of product under warranty & with service contract.
Specific Duties:
Responsible for quality Commissioning & Handing over of all the Battery Product & Company
Products like UPS Systems, PVPCS & Drive products of as per standards.
To manage all Service and Technical aspects for the full range batteries (lithium ion, VRLA) & UPS
systems, PVPCS & Drive products with the objective of achieving the set target/Objectives.
Attending the breakdown support for all the batteries & Company products and ensure the system
operation within committed TAT.
Responsible for the Project drawings preparation and its approval from customer.
Generating Service inquiries and pass on to Service Sales team.
Accountable for planning and timely execution of contractual preventive maintenance.
Coordinating the entire activity of the After Sales Support (Service & Support area) department.
Responsible uptime of product under warranty & with service contract.
Education :-
Essential : -Diploma/bachelor s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Desired : - Bachelor s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge:-
Technical background in batteries & UPS Service /commissioning support. Relevant experience in field
service /commissioning of product & configuration. Ability to travel to customer sites. Effective
communication skills & presentation skills. Strong Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated and innovative

Experience:
Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience into Batteries & allied product /Power Electronic/UPS/PV
Inverters after Sales Support.
Must be a Team player and adaptive to the competitive market environment.
Fully aware of the contemporary, evolving technologies in the field of Lithium & VRLA batteries &
UPS Systems Industry.
Field service support & commissioning experience in Batteries /UPS/ PVPCS.
Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills.
Shall be assertive and persuasive.
