Role Description
We are a multinational company that manufactures high-pressure reciprocating compressors. We are looking for a field service engineer with electrical and electronic expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VFDs and electrical panels to resolve customer issues and maintain customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in the Compressor Service Department, including servicing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of VFD drives and electrical/electronics panels.
Proven experience in a similar field service or technical support role.
Strong understanding of electrical, electronics, and mechanical systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Proficiency in MS Office and PLC programming and drives software.
Experience and Responsibilities:
Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of installed drives.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and performance.
Travel to customer sites as required.
Hands-on experience with drives (ABB, Danfoss, and Power Electronics), and good knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
Answer queries and resolve issues related to electrical components and drives.
Provide technical feedback to the reporting team based on field experience.
