About the Role:
The Agent Onboarding team will play a crucial role in expanding our network of travel agents. Your primary responsibility will be to onboard new agents as per the company's requirement, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to building strong relationships with potential and existing agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new agents through field visits, online channels, lead generation, and cold calling.
- Conduct thorough screening and vetting processes to ensure alignment with company values and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to onboard new travel agents, targeting key markets and demographics.
- Meet onboarding targets, maintaining funnel, track progress, and maintain detailed records of activities by assuring existing agents growth.
- Conduct face-to-face or phone business meetings with prospects/agents.
- Coordinate training sessions for new agents, providing necessary tools and resources.
- Travel within assigned territory to recruit and maintain strong relationships with existing agents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Evaluate new agents performance, offering regular feedback and support to meet company standards and targets.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize onboarding processes and enhance business performance.
- Promote new services and address or predict clients objectives (upsell).
Qualifications And Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or other fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reputed DMCs in roles like agent onboarding, partner relations, sales, operations or customer services.
- Proven track record of successful performance in agent base expansion / achieving business targets.
- Good communication, negotiation, problem solving, Presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel is a must.
