Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager with a background in building materials to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the building materials industry. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base in the building materials sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, architects, contractors, and builders.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, helping them make informed decisions about the company's building materials offerings.
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the internal team, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote the company's products.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to building materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically within the building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of the building materials market and products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
