Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Sales Executive at Metro Chem Industries located in Ahmedabad.

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  2. Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects to understand their needs, present products or services, and demonstrate how they can address the customer's requirements effectively.
  3. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to key decision-makers. Clearly articulate the value proposition, features, and benefits of the offerings to potential clients.
  4. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, understanding their business objectives, and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  5. Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and contracts with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  6. Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Gather feedback from customers and relay insights to the sales and marketing teams for product improvement and strategy refinement.
  7. Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling additional products or services. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  8. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and progress towards targets.
  9. Travel: Travel within the designated sales territory to meet clients, attend meetings, and participate in events as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales or a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills
  • Knowledge of the chemical industry and its products
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus.
