Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Sales Executive at Metro Chem Industries located in Ahmedabad.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects to understand their needs, present products or services, and demonstrate how they can address the customer's requirements effectively.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to key decision-makers. Clearly articulate the value proposition, features, and benefits of the offerings to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, understanding their business objectives, and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and contracts with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Gather feedback from customers and relay insights to the sales and marketing teams for product improvement and strategy refinement.
- Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling additional products or services. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and progress towards targets.
- Travel: Travel within the designated sales territory to meet clients, attend meetings, and participate in events as required.

- Proven experience in field sales or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills
- Knowledge of the chemical industry and its products
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus.
