Job Description

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identifying potential clients: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and customers.
  • Cold calling and networking: Use direct outreach methods like cold calls, emails, and attending events to connect with potential clients.

2. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations

  • Product presentations: Demonstrate or explain product features and benefits in a clear and persuasive way to potential customers.
  • Customer education: Provide detailed product knowledge and help customers understand how the products meet their needs.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Building relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients to encourage long-term loyalty.
  • Post-sale follow-up: Ensure customer satisfaction after the sale and provide support when necessary to build long-term partnerships.

4. Sales Target Achievement

  • Meeting sales quotas: Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the company within the assigned territory.
  • Sales forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts based on market trends and customer feedback.

5. Territory Management

  • Planning and organizing: Efficiently plan and manage sales activities within the assigned geographical area.
  • Regular client visits: Schedule regular visits to key customers and prospects to maintain visibility and engagement.

6. Market Intelligence and Reporting

  • Market research: Gather information on competitors, market trends, and customer needs to provide feedback to the company.
  • Reporting: Regularly submit sales reports, including details on customer interactions, sales performance, and market insights.

7. Negotiation and Closing Sales

  • Negotiation: Handle price negotiations, prepare contracts, and ensure favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Closing deals: Finalize sales transactions and ensure all necessary paperwork and agreements are completed.

8. Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Coordinating with marketing: Work with the marketing team to align on promotional campaigns and strategies.
  • Customer service coordination: Ensure a smooth handover of customer details and requirements to the customer service team for post-sales support.

9. Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated: Keep up with the latest product developments and innovations to present the most accurate information to clients.
  • Competitor analysis: Understand competitor products and their positioning in the market to effectively differentiate offerings.

10. Problem-Solving and Customer Support

  • Addressing customer concerns: Quickly address any customer complaints, questions, or technical issues related to products.
  • Offering solutions: Provide actionable solutions or alternatives to ensure client satisfaction and maintain a positive relationship.
