Job Summary
The Salon Field Sales Executive is responsible for promoting salon products and services to potential clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and providing excellent customer service to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Responsibilities
*Sales and Business Development:**
Develop and implement a sales strategy to target salon owners, managers, and decision-makers within the assigned territory.
Prospect and cold call potential clients to introduce salon products, services, and promotional offers.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of salon products.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with salon owners or purchasing managers to secure sales agreements.
Close sales deals and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
2. **Client Relationship Management:**
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing salon clients through regular communication and personalized service.
Understand client needs, preferences, and business objectives to recommend tailored solutions and upsell additional products or services.
Provide ongoing support, training, and product knowledge updates to salon staff to ensure optimal utilization of salon products and services.
Address client inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and escalate issues as needed to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
3. **Market Research and Analysis:**
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for product expansion or differentiation.
Gather feedback from clients and salon professionals to assess product performance, customer satisfaction, and market demand.
Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies to drive sales growth.
4. **Collaboration and Coordination:**
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Coordinate product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales events to generate excitement and drive sales within the salon community.
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to stay updated on industry trends, expand professional network, and generate leads.
5. **Documentation and Reporting: **
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software or sales tracking tools.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against sales targets and present findings to management.
**Qualifications: **
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of salon products, beauty trends, and industry dynamics.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
