Overview
The Field Sales Executive (BDE) plays a key role in driving sales and revenue growth for the organization. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets and expand customer base
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective customers
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profits
- Provide product knowledge and demonstrations to clients
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling or networking
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Track sales activities, prepare reports, and maintain sales records
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitors
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner
- Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities
- Attend industry events and conferences to generate leads and build relationships
- Manage and prioritize time effectively to meet sales goals
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Field Sales Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Solid understanding of market research and data analysis
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
