TheField Officer will be responsible for coordinating and implementing project relatedactivities in Mumbai. We are looking for a team member who is passionate forthe cause of curing waterbody pollution and increase awareness within the cityon waste management and has strong program management skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage activities and deliverables of the project.
- Create a specific plan for the execution of project activities on weekly basis in alignment with the overall project timelines.
- Efficient in community outreach and mobilization skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Work actively with schools, colleges, NGOs to mobilize seek their active participation in the project activities.
- Document the project activities and outcomes on regular basis and submit the project status report as per the committed timelines.
- Candidate must be a team player and should be willing to travel extensively in and around Mumbai for coordinating program activities.
- Financial reconciliation and reporting of the project activities.
Profile Requisites:
- Master / Bachelor degree in Social science/environment science.
- 1-2 years of work experience. (in the field of environment science, community conservation or relevant social projects with focus on behaviour change)
- A dynamic and versatile person who can easily connect and effectively work with internal and external stakeholders of the project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Efficient in community outreach and mobilization.
- Must be efficient in communicating in Hindi, English and Marathi.
- Candidate must be a team player willing to travel to implement program activities.
