Responsibilities

Individual is responsible for implementing the design in VHDL or Verilog for targeted FPGA. He role will include integrating FPGA code with hardware, testing to meet intended requirement. Job involved working with high speed serial interfaces such as PCIe, MPHY/UFS, DPHY/CSI/DSI, USB. Understanding the operation of each of this Protocol and writing test bench to verify the design.

Job involves show casing ALDEC and prodigy products to aerospace customers. Successfully conducting evaluation and obtaining technical buy-in from target customer.

Qualifications

BE/ME Electronics from a reputed college

Specialization in VLSI and Embedded design

Experience:

3 to 5 year Experience in implementing FPGA based design in Xilinx or Altera FPGA

System Design with Xilinx/Altera FPGA devices with relevant tools

Experience in VHDL / and Verilog coding

Experience in handling high speed FPGA designs

Static Timing Analysis (STA) knowing is an added advantage

Experience on synthesis, placement and routing and also floor planning

Used constraints to achieve the timing requirement

Building test bench for verification

Board level testing and system debugging

Contributing to internal design reviews to ensure adherence to the company FPGA design process

Should have strong problem solving and debugging capabilities

Protocols knowledge like USB, GBE, PCIe, RS232, I2C, etc.

Should have hands on experience on the debugging tools and test instruments such as oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer
