Splice fiber optic cables to create seamless connections between two fibers
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber optic networks
Inspect and clean connectors as needed Fiber Optic Splicing
Fiber Optic Troubleshooting- Ability to safely and efficiently operate and maintain fiber splicing equipment
Ability to read and interpret splicing diagrams and drawings
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance of fiber communications systems
Ability to work independently and to work in a team environment- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
