Selecting materials: Choosing suitable materials, such as wood, metal, plastic, and textiles- Creating designs: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, sketches, card models, or hard prototypes to generate sample designs
Discussing designs: Discussing designs with clients for custom orders or with manufacturers
- Preparing final designs: Preparing detailed final designs
