Job Title : FEA Engineer

Purpose of Role:
This position is required for Engineering Analysis and Advanced Manufacturing team for executing projects related to engineering of equipment structures used in mining industries, plant engineering (Pump supports, compact plants, conveyors, valves/seat, failure analysis and other mechanical support structures). The job profile also requires undertaking finite element analysis (FEA) engineering activities across OE, product engineering (NPD/NPI).etc. Providing Technical support on projects / enquiries

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Execute projects and validate the design criteria (through FEA tools) for Pump supports, compact plants, conveyors, valves/seat, failure analysis and other mechanical support structures
- Need to collaborate with global engineering team, application engineering/sales team and customers as required
- Own any project related technical discussions & meetings with customers
- Should be proficient with Ansys CAE tools flagship products, Inspire and also should have good knowledge on CAD Modeling.
- Hands on experience in conducting Linear / Non Linear Analysis
- Static/ Dynamic analysis
- Should be able to conduct Vibration and Elastic-Plastic analysis on product level
- Assessment of results in line through parametrical acceptance range per engineering standards
- Component & support structure analysis of mining equipment
- Should be able to conduct Fatigue and Thermal analysis
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Required: BE / M Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience & skills required:
Atleast 4 to 6 years in a similar, hands on experience in designing and validating products, working on product engineering / development area in an engineering and manufacturing or services organization
- Experience in design, development & order engineering Pump supports, compact plants, conveyors and other support structures
- Knowledge of international codes such as API, ASME Sec VIII etc.
- Good understanding on conveyors, plant structures, base frames, nozzle loads terminologies, valve/seat, .
- Broad knowledge and understanding of different stages of new product design and control processes. (VAVE, FMEA techniques.)
