Role Summary:
As a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer specializing in Mechanical Engineering, you will play a key role in conducting structural analyses and simulations to evaluate the behavior and performance of mechanical components and systems. Your expertise in FEA will be instrumental in optimizing designs, identifying potential failure modes, and ensuring the structural integrity of engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
Pre-processing (CAD Cleanup and meshing), solving and post-processing of components/assemblies that simulate real life conditions for FEA Analysis
Converting application/field problem into simulation problem (Boundary condition/Physics definition) independently. Contributing to conceptualization and development of new technology/design.
Impacting product design decisions to best meet stakeholder's requirements through the utilization and interpretation of numerical/CAE tools & methods that predict the performance of component/s or system/s.
Performs and delivers FEA analysis projects with respect to QCD commitments. Driving cost/lead-time reduction initiatives through Design optimization.
Working along with design, quality and installation teams to understand the design limitations and identify areas of improvement.
Technical Skills:
Exposure to FEA simulation using Ansys tool is necessary.
Should have good understanding of Strength of materials, Vibration, Numerical Methods etc. and should be able to do hand calculations to validate the simulation results.
Working knowledge of SolidWorks (Desirable)
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 1-2 years of relevant experience
