Job Title: FEA Engineer
Location: Devanahalli facility, KIADB Aerospace Park, near Airport

Job Responsibilities:
- Meshing of Composite UAV Structures:
- Meshing of individual parts, assemblies, and complete UAV aircraft structures (metallic and composite).
- Applying loads and boundary conditions for structural analysis.
- Linear Static and Non-Linear Static Analysis:
- Perform static analysis of aircraft components (metallic and composite).
- Conduct stress, strain, and margin of safety calculations.
- Execute fastener analysis and bonded/bolted joint calculations.
- Composite Material Analysis:
- Analyse and test composite materials in compliance with ASTM standards.
- Estimate material properties through coupon tests.
- Vibrational and Fatigue Analysis:
- Conduct modal and harmonic vibrational analysis of structural components.
- Perform fatigue analysis to estimate the residual life under cyclic loading.
- Design Iterations:
- Modify mesh and re-run analysis based on design changes.
- Technical Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on structural analysis activities and results.
Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Engineering graduate with 7-10 years of experience (Personnel 1) and 4-7 years (Personnel 2).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Strength of Materials and Aircraft Structures.
- Proficiency in working with composite materials and performing analysis.
- Familiarity with composite material testing per ASTM standards.
- Hands-on experience with engineering hand calculations.
- Expertise in meshing, applying loads, and boundary conditions for structural analysis.
- Proficiency in ANSYS 2024 R1 (Mechanical APDL) and Space Claim.
- Experience with vibrational (modal and harmonic) and fatigue analysis.
- Analytical Skills:
- Knowledge in both static and dynamic analysis.
- Ability to perform stress, strain, and margin of safety calculations.
- Experience with fastener analysis and fatigue life estimations under cyclic loading.
- Performance Metrics:
- 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) and First-Time Right (First Pass Yield - FPY) are key performance measures.
- Maintain work logs and work independently with minimal supervision.

- The work schedule is 08:30 AM to 06:00 PM with lunch and breaks.
