Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years of experience in the job market context of India and should be able to work from home. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating clothing and accessory collections that are both stylish and functional. Proficiency in 3D dimensions for virtual prototyping and design visualization. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop clothing and accessory collections that are both stylish and functional
- Collaborate with other designers, merchandisers, and buyers to ensure that designs meet customer needs and expectations
- Research current fashion trends and incorporate them into designs
- Create sketches and prototypes of designs
- Select fabrics, embellishments, and colors for each collection
- Work with manufacturers to ensure that designs are produced to the highest quality standards
- Attend fashion shows and events to stay current on industry trends
- Maintain knowledge of fashion industry trends, materials, and technology
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 2-6 years of experience in the job market context of India
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent design and sketching skills
- Strong understanding of fabrics, materials, and construction techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of fashion industry trends and developments
- Ability to work from home and manage time effectively
