Description
We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating fashion pieces that meet our clients needs and preferences. Proficiency in 3D dimensions for virtual prototyping and design visualization. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Create and design fashion pieces, including clothing, accessories, and footwear, that meet the needs and preferences of our clients
- Research fashion trends and stay up-to-date with the latest styles, fabrics, and colors
- Collaborate with clients and team members to determine design specifications and requirements
- Create sketches, patterns, and prototypes of designs
- Select fabrics, embellishments, and colors for each design
- Oversee production and ensure quality control of all fashion pieces
- Ensure designs are produced within budget and timelines
- Attend fashion shows and events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and network with other professionals
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in fashion design
- Expertise in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction
- Ability to create sketches, patterns, and prototypes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of the Indian fashion market and trends
