Job Summary: The Fashion Production Manager will oversee the production process for our fashion line, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Production Planning and Management:- Develop and implement production schedules to meet the demands of the design and sales teams.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery of products.- Oversee the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Supplier and Vendor Coordination:- Source and manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other vendors.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery schedules.- Ensure all suppliers meet quality standards and ethical practices.
Quality Control:- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
Conduct regular inspections of production sites and finished products.- Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.
Inventory and Logistics Management:- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
Coordinate the logistics of product delivery, ensuring timely and efficient distribution.- Monitor and report on inventory levels, production status, and other key metrics.
Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with designers, sales teams, and other departments to align production with company goals.
Communicate production status and any issues to relevant stakeholders.- Foster a collaborative environment among the production team and other departments.
Compliance and Sustainability:- Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
Promote and implement sustainable production practices to minimize environmental impact.
