Fashion Designer- Knitwear

What you will do :

• Create original art for clothing based on trends and research.

Sizing and formatting art files and sending them to factories for development.

• Strong knowledge of fashion trends and market demands.

Communicate with factories to ensure successful execution of the designs.

• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ensuring that projects are completed on time.

• Visiting sites and other sources of ideas for designs.

Must have qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design.

Good knowledge and experience in Knitwear Fabrics.

• Concept to sample.

New idea generation.

• Demonstrated expertise in garment construction.

Shillouttes and size.

• Photography

Graphics, print, wash, and other surface design development.

• Understanding the brand's value and design to align with it.

Understanding looks and create directions.

• Ability to create all over prints as well as placement art while being able to also CAD, size and format for all categories.

Knowledge on season themes, Graphic Designing, Design Development, Product development, Pre-production sample development, Printing techniques and Sampling Co-ordination.

• Should have thorough knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Coral Draw, Internet Surfing Sketching, Designing, Development of artworks, Software: CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.

Experience in colour, yarn analysis, and material selection.

• Strong knowledge of fashion trends and market demands.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to be organized and motivated candidate who works well under pressure and who loves fashion.
