Dog-O-Bow is a manufacturer of luxury pet apparels and accessories based out of Hyderabad. Along with manufacturing, Dog-O-Bow also operates three luxury pet care stores where all our latest collections and trends of pet clothing are displayed . The role of an Assistant Fashion Designer is a crucial one in the progress of the organization which in turn rewards the individual with personal growth as well. The following are the roles and responsibilities of an Assistant Fashion Designer :
- Time Management
Ensure that deadlines for the delivery of the order for our B2B and B2C clients are met in order to provide a seamless shopping experience with us. The production of the order needs to be completed within the stipulated time frame.
- Material Understanding
One needs to be aware of the different kinds of material present in the market in order to know which material is the right one for the production of a certain kind of a product. The strengths and weaknesses of each material must be known to the assistant fashion designer.
- Meeting the Targets
Targets will be set at the beginning of the month both for retail and wholesale segments and one needs to ensure the staff assigned to you meets these targets.
- Team Management
A strong team size of 10 will be assigned which will further be divided into various departments. Ensuring co-ordination and camaraderie among the team members will be a key factor in your performance review as these factors are linked directly with the progress of the organization.
- Order Fulfillment
Ensuring end-to-end fulfillment of all B2B and B2C orders is a key performance measuring parameter as it influences a customer experience at the store.
- Barcoding and Deliveries
On completion of the production of B2B and B2C orders, all products need to be barcoded in order for our vendors/customers to be aware of the product details. Ample training will be provided on the software usage and post the completion of the training, the candidate will be expected to execute this activity flawlessly.
- Relationship Management
The last and the most important role as a Fashion Designer is to maintain a healthy and consistent relation with all our B2B vendors. Keeping in touch with them via sharing our new collections, new schemes or discounts, product review or simply check-in to see if everything is running smoothly at their end will be expected.
