Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in the Indian job market and a strong passion for fashion design. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating designs, patterns, and illustrations for a variety of clothing and accessories. This is a full-time position based in our office in India. Proficiency in 3D dimensions for virtual prototyping and design visualization. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Creating unique and innovative designs for a variety of clothing and accessories
- Developing patterns and illustrations for clothing and accessories
- Collaborating with other designers, buyers, and merchandisers to create cohesive collections
- Researching and analyzing current fashion trends and consumer preferences
- Managing multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met
- Communicating effectively with team members and external stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in fashion design in the Indian job market
- Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills
- Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and garment construction
- Ability to create patterns and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
