Description
We are seeking an experienced Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of India and a passion for creating innovative designs that push boundaries and captivate audiences. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing a wide range of products, from apparel to accessories. You will collaborate with other designers, product developers, and marketing teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and appeal to our target audience. Proficiency in 3D dimensions for virtual prototyping and design visualization. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop innovative designs for apparel and accessories
- Collaborate with product developers, marketing teams, and other designers to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and appeal to the target audience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and technologies
- Conduct research on fabrics, materials, and production techniques
- Create sketches, prototypes, and samples of designs
- Attend fashion shows and trade shows to showcase designs and network with industry professionals
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of India
- Strong design skills and a portfolio of previous work
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality
- Knowledge of fabrics, materials, and production techniques
- Experience with pattern making and garment construction
