We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Engineer to join our team. The Facility Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and improving the physical infrastructure of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee and perform regular maintenance and repair tasks for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address issues related to safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new construction.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Implement safety protocols and conduct training for staff.
- Energy Management: Monitor and optimize energy usage to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implement sustainable practices and technologies where applicable.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repair tasks. Evaluate and manage vendor performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and improvement projects. Track expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and project progress. Prepare reports as required.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents. Be on-call for emergencies and coordinate response efforts.
