We are seeking an experienced Admin/Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our buildings, equipment, and systems. You will oversee a team of maintenance staff and contractors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Facility Operations Management:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, equipment, and utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the operation of critical facility systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Monitor facility performance and implement improvement measures to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.

Budgeting And Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the facility's annual budget, including operating expenses and capital projects.
  • Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality services.
  • Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Vendor And Contract Management

  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and quality standards.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and address any concerns or issues.

Emergency Preparedness And Risk Management

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Conduct regular drills and training sessions to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the facility and occupants.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
  • Knowledge of MS- Office and Tally.
