We are a leading Knits dyeing and finishing factory with a daily capacity of 20 tons. Our commitment to quality and efficiency has established us as a key player in the textile industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabric Manager to oversee our post-finishing activities, including packing, delivery, and management of finished goods.
Position Overview
The Fabric Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations in the post-finishing department. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively to meet production goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Packing Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the packing process to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of finished goods.
- Develop and maintain packing procedures to optimize workflow and minimize errors.
- Monitor packing supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Delivery Coordination
- Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with logistics partners and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
- Resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly.
Finished Goods Store Management
- Manage the finished goods storage area, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Implement storage best practices to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Implement quality assurance processes to minimize defects and improve overall product quality.
Team Leadership And Development
- Lead and motivate a team of packing and warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and set clear goals for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a textile manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of packing, warehouse management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
