Experienced in 3-5 year Garment Industry
- Fabric Inspection and Quality Control:
Inspect fabric upon receipt for quality, color, width, and any defects.
Ensure fabric matches the specifications in the Purchase Order (P.O.).
Conduct quality checks to identify issues like stains, holes, or inconsistent weaving.
- 2 Fabric Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of fabric inventory, including stock levels, usage, and reordering.
Organize and store fabric properly to avoid damage and ensure easy access.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely reorders.
- 3.Tracking and Documentation:
Track fabric orders from suppliers and manage delivery schedules.
Ensure that P.O. numbers, design numbers, and other relevant details are accurately recorded on all fabric-related documents, such as challans and bills.
Maintain detailed records of fabric receipts, issues, and returns.
- 4. Coordination with Production and Design Teams:
Work closely with the production team to ensure timely availability of fabric for stitching and other processes.
Coordinate with the design team to ensure that the fabric selected meets the design requirements.
Communicate any fabric-related issues or delays to relevant departments.
- 5.Fabric Issue and Return:
Issue fabric to jobbers or production teams as per the production schedule.
Ensure proper documentation for all fabric issued, including quantity, design, and P.O. number.
Manage fabric returns and adjustments in the inventory system.
- 6 Compliance and Reporting
Ensure all fabric handling processes comply with company policies and industry standards.
Prepare regular reports on fabric usage, stock levels, and any discrepancies.
