Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled F5 Load Balancer Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in deploying and configuring F5 load balancers. This role involves converting customer-provided F5 configurations to Avi Networks configurations. The candidate should have a deep understanding of F5 configurations and iRules, with the ability to interpret and translate them into Avi configurations. Proficiency in Python and Tcl scripting is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert customer-provided F5 configurations to equivalent Avi configurations.
- Analyze and interpret F5 configurations and iRules to understand their functionalities.
- Deploy and configure F5 load balancers as per customer requirements.
- Utilize scripting skills (Python and Tcl) to automate and streamline configuration processes.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient configuration conversions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5 and Avi configurations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding load balancer configurations.
Required Skillsets:
- Extensive hands-on experience with F5 load balancer configurations.
- Strong understanding of F5 iRules and their functionalities.
- Proficiency in Python and Tcl scripting.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex F5 configurations.
- Experience with Avi Networks load balancers is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in deploying and configuring F5 load balancers.
- Proven track record of successful F5 to Avi configuration conversions.
- Certification in F5 technology (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator) is a plus.
Preferred Location:
- Bangalore (preferred), but Pune or other locations are acceptable for highly qualified candidates.
