Overview:
The F & B Controller plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial and accounting aspects of the food and beverage operations within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring efficient cost control and maximizing profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of the food and beverage department
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Conduct regular food cost analysis and provide recommendations for maximizing profitability
- Monitor and analyze sales and expense data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Coordinate with the culinary and operations teams to develop and maintain accurate recipe costs
- Oversee inventory management and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and forecasts
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team within the F & B department
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
