Job Description

Nestled on the shores of Lake Pichola, Our heritage hotel/Haveli stands out for its heritage charm and picturesque location, with travelers often lauding the spacious rooms that offer breathtaking views. While the hotel's cleanliness and value are consistently praised, room maintenance, and occasional lapses in service.

The Restaurant in our hotel is a highlight, popular for its stunning lake vistas, though room amenities can vary. Guests particularly enjoy the inviting atmosphere of this property with its unique character and proximity to local attractions.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Captain to join our team. The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for overseeing the dining room operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading the service team to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times. Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the service staff, including servers, bussers, and host/hostess. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operations Management: Oversee daily dining room operations, including table assignments, reservations management, and coordination with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area. Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Guest Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
Menu Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, and be able to make recommendations and answer guests questions regarding food and beverages.
Sales: Promote and upsell menu items, beverages, and special promotions to maximize revenue.Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on dining room activities, guest feedback, and staff performance to the management team.
