Job Description: Export Marketing Manager (Agro Commodity Trading Company)
Position Overview:
As an Export Marketing Manager in an agro-commodity trading company, you will be pivotal in driving the company's export initiatives and expanding its market presence globally. This position requires a strategic and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of international trade, agro commodities, and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Research:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential markets, trends, and opportunities for agro-commodity exports and imports.
Analyse competitors and market conditions to develop effective marketing strategies.
2. Export Strategy Development:
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's export business.
Formulate pricing strategies, considering market demand, competition, and cost factors.
Identify and evaluate potential partners, distributors, and collaborators in target markets.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
Ensure that export activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
Understand customer needs and preferences, and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
5. Product Promotion and Branding:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote agro commodities in target markets.
Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and brand awareness.
6. Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Optimize transportation and distribution processes to reduce costs and enhance overall efficiency.
7. Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate terms and conditions with international buyers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Draft and manage export contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal requirements.
8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of export marketing initiatives.
Generate regular reports on export activities, market trends, and competitor analysis.
9. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead a team of export professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to achieve overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven 3-5 years experience in export marketing, preferably in the agro-commodity trading industry.
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and export procedures.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for market analysis and reporting.
