URGENT OPPORTUNITY - EXPORTS MANAGER (NIGERIA LOCATION).
Summary of Role:
Drive business plan in designated Export Markets with the objective of enhancing sales volume and profitability. Responsible for coordinating & overseeing a company's export activities including managing international sales, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, negotiating contracts & developing relationships with partners.

Job Responsibility:
Export Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Study the market in the target country or countries.
- Identify new markets for exports and develop new business accounts.
- Plan sales campaigns suited to target countries and current consumer trends. Plan and review budgets for product ranges.
Export Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and Competition Reports
- Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents, and vendors.
- Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements.
- Constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work to provide relevant information to management.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers, agents, and distributors.
Sales and Marketing:
- Generate and enhance sales of products in other countries.
- Identify new business opportunities by tapping potential customers from different countries.
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities are carried out within agreed budgets, volume, sales, and time scales.
- Develop knowledge of the cultural, business, and political background of target countries, along with an understanding of consumer tastes.
- Look for new opportunities to sell to different international markets. Address customer inquiries and complaints.
Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving:
- Develop and maintain export databases, records, and reports.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations.
