Key Responsibilities:- Documentation Preparation:
Prepare and review all necessary export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses.- Ensure that all documents comply with international trade regulations and standards.
Compliance and Regulation:- Stay updated on export regulations and trade compliance requirements for different countries.
Ensure that all exports comply with local and international trade laws, including customs regulations and tariffs.Coordination:
Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
- Liaise with internal departments such as sales, logistics, and finance to gather information and ensure smooth documentation flow.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain and organize detailed records of all export transactions, documentation, and correspondence.
Ensure that documentation is readily accessible for audits or inspections.
Address and resolve any issues related to export documentation, such as discrepancies or delays.- Provide support in handling disputes or claims related to exports.
Customer Service:- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding export documentation and shipment status.
Assist customers in understanding and complying with export requirements.Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve documentation processes and practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and technological solutions to streamline documentation procedures.
