Key Responsibilities:- Documentation Management:
Prepare and review all export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export licenses.- Ensure documents are completed accurately and in compliance with international trade regulations.
Compliance and Regulation:- Stay updated on export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements.
Ensure adherence to international trade laws and company policies to avoid legal issues and delays.Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and efficient handling of shipments.
- Liaise with internal departments such as sales, logistics, and finance to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all export documentation and transactions.
Prepare and file necessary reports for internal and external audits.
Provide excellent service to clients by addressing inquiries related to export documentation and shipment status.- Resolve documentation-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Process Improvement:- Identify opportunities for process improvements in documentation procedures.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in export operations.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 1 + years of experience in export documentation or a similar role.Skills
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Experience with export management software or ERP systems is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
