Position Overview:
As an Export and Import Office Executive, you will play a crucial role in facilitating international trade operations for our company. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the export and import processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing efficiency in logistics and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth export and import processes.
- Preparing documents as per Letter of Credit and negotiating with banks.
2. Advance Authorisation, MOOWR, EOU, SEZ, Deemed Export:
- Opening and Closing of Advance authorization.
- Handling all bonding and debonding work of MOOWR.
- Experience in dealing with EOU work.
- Experience in Deemed Export documentation.
3. Logistics Coordination:
- Arrange transportation and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to manage inventory levels and logistics operations effectively.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
4. Customer Service and Communication:
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and international agents to address inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and documentation.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding shipment statuses and logistics activities.
5. Financial Administration:
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for international shipments.
- Verify freight invoices and ensure accuracy in billing and payment processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong Knowledge of Advance Authorisation, Customs, DGFT, EOU, MOOWR, and related works.
- Proven experience in export and import operations, logistics coordination, or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and trade compliance regulations and Letter of Credit.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and logistics software.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
