Boeing team is currently looking for an
Experienced Digital Content & Copy Specialist to join their team in
Chennai, India. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
As a Digital Content & Copy Specialist within our eCommerce and Digital Marketing team, you will focus on online content for Boeing Global Services, publishing of content to the web, working within a WCMS system, ensuring quality of content and marketing copy on the web, align with brand content strategies and priorities. As well as ensuring an optimal customer experience/journey.
The Digital Content & Copy Specialist will play an important role in eCommerce and Digital Marketing site experience, web content development, and execution. Supporting highly visible web projects from beginning to end, from gathering requirements, design, and development, to testing, launch, and support using SAP Commerce Cloud SmartEdit, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. While aligning to the strategic plan for the online marketing and content in support of Boeing eCommerce websites.
Position Responsibilities:
- Translate organizational and marketing objectives into digital narratives that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to use, and engaging our voice and tone and increases brand connection and engagement.
- Implementing and optimizing site content with the use of a WCMS and component library.
- Support strategic content, branding program, and growth marketing programs.
- Audit website for copy, brand, content, and imagery discrepancies.
- Identify and resolve marketing content, copy, and web site page issues.
- Adhering to SEO best practices and following those practices when reviewing and optimizing content for Boeing's websites
- Writing and editing online pages, content, and copy while managing project schedules and deadlines.
- Writing and editing search engine optimized marketing copy.
- Improving marketing site search through keyword redirects, content enrichment, and relevancy optimization.
- Maintaining web presence navigation, sitemap, and taxonomy.
- Improving and enriching marketing content to drive customer acquisition, improved lead capture and awareness.
- Support WCMS technical team with feedback and system improvements requests
- Localizing content & copy (if required).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a basic qualification
- 10+ years of work experience in digital marketing agencies, website maintenance experience, site audit, SEO related works, monthly report generation etc.
- Proficient in enterprise-scale web content management systems tools like SAP SmartEdit or similar platform
- Intrinsic passion for digital marketing and awareness of best practices and trends
- Ability to break down complex problems, conduct analysis, and translate into action plan.
- Exposure to working with agencies, client teams and third-party vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office functionality
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Able collaborator with leadership, business users, and technical personnel

Typical Education/Experience:
