We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated administrator specializing in Jira and Confluence (Data Centre and Cloud) to support our prestigious client who is going through a migration to the SaaS Atlassian suite.

To be considered for this role you must have a
minimum of 3 years technical support of enterprise level (1000 users+) implementations with on-premise, cloud and hybrid implementations, and experience of large-scale migrations. The successful candidate is likely to be considered as the lead support engineer in your current role - the person the rest of your team looks to for support or escalation. You will have an understanding of the impact of large-scale migrations and best practices to maintain good health and operations and be used to working UK or US time zones. This person will also have a broad range of skills in Python, Groovy and other languages.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the migration of an enterprise-sized Atlassian Data Centre to Cloud project
- Conduct training sessions for teams and individuals on Jira best practices and new features.
- Build relationships with with stakeholders to deeply understand their support and migration requirements
- Provide enterprise level technical support for Jira Data Center and Cloud instances in a busy, hybrid, environment
- Report progress through daily stand-ups and via written status reports
- Interface with other staff within Karumba to provide support as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience as a JIRA Support Engineer in an hybrid, enterprise environment
- Advanced Jira and Confluence configuration knowledge
- Strong experience of Data Centre to Cloud migrations (Mandatory)
- Certification in Atlassian is a plus
- Scripting knowledge like Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, REST API, shell-script etc
- Excellent knowledge of Jira tools and add-ons such as Service Desk, Structure, ScriptRunner, Roadmap, BigPicture, JMCF, JSU and JQL
- Strong experience of Cloud, on-premise and hybrid Atlassian installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
