As an EXIM (Export-Import) Coordinator you will manage and oversee the importing and exporting operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all international regulations and laws. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of global logistics.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor the logistics arrangement and movement of goods globally.
Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
Monitor shipment schedules, track shipments, and address any delays or issues that arise.
Prepare and process import/export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and documentation.
Knowledge & Handling of Pre & Post shipment document which include commercial invoices, packing list, L/C documents, Importing country certification, Customs/ Insurance declaration Certificate of Origin & many more document prepared as per customer requirement.
Resolve documentation discrepancies .
Coordinate and track customs clearance processes. Follow up with CHAs for clearance .
Resolve any issues related to customs inspections, tariffs, and duties
Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding import/export activities.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Shipment planning & coordination with internal & external stakeholders.
To liaise with production team & dispatch team, transporter and freight forwarder, ensuring that cargo meets cut off time
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of goods for trading product.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for inventory accuracy and control.
Coordination with procurement for negotiate rates and terms with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
Monitor and analyze transportation costs and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure proper inspection of warehouse during customer/regulatory Audits.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Bachelor /Masters
Good Communication skills.
Work experience in similar role for 5+ years
Should have experience in Import/Export Area
