Job Description

The Billing/Invoicing Team is comprised of specialists who are responsible for billing our clients timely, efficiently, and accurately. We partner with the Sales Team to understand customer requirements, work hand in hand with our collections team to ensure Insight Global is receiving payment from IG's invoices. Each specialist owns a portfolio of accounts to support and build positive professional relationships, with both clients and internal partners.

IG has experienced significant growth and we are transforming our processes. It is an exciting time to be with the company. This position requires an employee with 3-5 years of specialty or custom billing for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, managing internal and external customer expectations, ask for help when needed, and bring new ideas to the job, processes, and team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately onboarding billing profile and gathering specific documentation for every new contractor that goes onsite.
  • Sending invoices on time and accurately per customer requirements.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for new customer setups.
  • Manage workload to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Researching / Reconciling account issues
  • Providing detailed updates on unbilled accounts
  • Collaborating with the Collections team for customer issues
  • AP portal entry (Ariba, Fieldglass, IQN, OB10).

Job Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 Years of specialty or boutique billing (or similar position)
  • Mid level to Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven experience managing customer AP Portals (Ariba, OB10, etc.)
  • Proven experience resolving PO spend issues, pricing errors, and other billing errors.
  • Tracking PO spend
  • Working autonomously as well as in a team
  • A strong curiosity to challenge processes and improve them
  • Proven ability to resolve difficult customer situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Working in office and collaborating with billing team and leadership at minimum 3 days per week.
