Job Purpose:
To establish manufacturing and tooling processes for monolithic, sandwich composite parts & assemblies, metal sandwich parts & assemblies, matched die compression moulding, wet lay-up & assemblies for Build - to - Print projects and Design - to - Build projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execution / Implementation - 1. Prepare documents like route card, SOP, process documents, BOM,routing updation in SAP, CMS for approved projects to implement FPQ / FAA, LSP & SP
2.Raise indent to purchase dept for procurement of raw materials, consumables, cutters required during FAI / LSP 3. 3. Co ordinate with production for manufacturing of parts & assemblies for approved projects to implement FPQ / FAA.
4. preparation of documents required for handover as per check list & facilitate for smooth transition of parts manufacturing from FAA to Series production
5. Training to production personnel & all concerned on critical process parameters
6. Carry out Root-cause analysis & Implement counter measures to improve processes for achieving zero-rejection and deploy learnings ( Horizontally).
7. Record the learnings during FPQ / FAI & communicate the same to production for implementation of best practices to implement during LSP & SP 8. Attend CFT meetings on FAA / FPQ / LSP / SP& timely interaction with customers on staus of programme & clarify, resolve any issues. 9. Study & implement cost reduction activity related to raw materials, consumables, cutters,suggestions for process, design improvements in the respective programmes.
