Job Title: Face-to-Face Fundraiser
Location: Various public locations (e.g., Malls, Open-Markets, Corporate offices)
Reporting to: Fundraising Manager
About Animal Care:
Animal Care Trust is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and welfare of street animals. We run shelters, provide medical care, and work with the community to improve the lives of injured and abandoned animals. We rely on donations to support our activities and expand our reach.
Role Summary:
As a Face-to-Face Fundraiser, you will be the public face of Animal Care, engaging with potential donors to raise awareness and funds. Your role will involve approaching people in public spaces, explaining the work of the organization, and securing one-time or recurring donations. This is a critical role to ensure we continue providing life-saving care to animals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Approach and engage members of the public to inspire support for Animal Care.
Clearly explain the mission, vision, and impact of the organization to potential donors.
Secure donations, including monthly giving commitments.
Achieve daily and monthly fundraising targets set by the Fundraising Manager.
Accurately record donor information and ensure confidentiality of personal data.
Work as part of a team to motivate and support each other in achieving fundraising goals.
Represent Animal Care in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
Passion for animal welfare and an interest in non-profit fundraising.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in approaching and speaking with people.
Ability to inspire and persuade others to contribute to a cause.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous fundraising, sales, or customer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
