Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels for factory operations.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of factory workers and staff.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure new employees are properly introduced to company policies, safety guidelines, and job roles.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, grievances, and concerns.
  • Foster positive working relationships between employees and management to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Investigate employee complaints or issues, and take necessary disciplinary actions in coordination with the management team.
  • Compliance and Labor Law:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to employee contracts, personal files, and statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with government authorities for inspections, licenses, and statutory audits.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
  • Manage payroll processing, attendance tracking, and leave management for factory employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, provident fund, and other statutory benefits.
  • Address employee compensation issues and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to line managers on employee evaluations.
  • Identify training and development needs for factory employees and coordinate relevant programs.
  • Develop and implement employee motivation programs to enhance productivity.
  • Health, Safety, and Welfare:
  • Ensure proper implementation of safety policies and procedures in the factory.
  • Promote a safe and secure working environment by conducting safety audits and regular inspections.
  • Organize wellness programs, health check-ups, and awareness sessions for employees.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention:
  • Organize employee engagement activities to boost morale and foster team-building.
  • Develop strategies for reducing employee turnover and increasing retention.
  • HR Data and Reporting:
  • Maintain and update HR databases and prepare regular reports for management regarding HR metrics, absenteeism, turnover, and recruitment status.
  • Provide insights on HR trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a factory or manufacturing setup.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
